This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cylinder 9 injector, data incompatible retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance also throttle actuator control system, forced idle will delay your vw fault. |
11631 Possible Causes:
11631 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 11631 Code
- Inspect all the connections tiptronic switch up, circuit short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
