This something to do with the intake camshaft timing secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles ignition coil 'i' primary control, short to plus and intake manifold runner bank 1, high temperature is the final reason of the code. |
11617 Possible Causes:
11617 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
