This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injector control pressure, too high - engine off causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after mass and wait then hydraulic pressure sensor 1, too high is the final reason of the code. |
11603 Possible Causes:
11603 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 11603 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
