This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition switch run position, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean or metering pump for cleaning solution, faulty is the final reason of the code. |
11601 Possible Causes:
11601 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 11601 Code
- Inspect all the connections sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
