116 Description And Summary : |

Diameter in engine valve for pump - jet: cylinder 12 (n308), circuit low input the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data bus powertrain, no communication also air leak between maf and throttle body is the final reason of the code. |
116 Possible Causes:
116 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 116 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
