11542 Possible Causes:
11542 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 11542 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
