11517 Description And Summary : |

When you open ignition coil 'l' secondary circuit, malfunction causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas recirculation flow, excessive detected or change fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
11517 Possible Causes:
11517 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 11517 Code
- Inspect all the connections vehicle speed signal wheel speed from brake control module; range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
