11500 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about reservoir for additive for particle filter, empty retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too largely and mil request signal active (check for tcm errors too!) is the final reason of the code. |
11500 Possible Causes:
11500 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 11500 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
