11497 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so low pressure fuel system sensor (g410), circuit or change cylinder 5 injector, data incompatible is the final reason of the code. |
11497 Possible Causes:
11497 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11497 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
