11497 Possible Causes:
11497 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 11497 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
