Diameter in engine cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance also exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
11493 Possible Causes:
11493 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11493 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
