11488 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so malfunction indication light (k83), electrical malfunction . On the other hand radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
11488 Possible Causes:
11488 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11488 Code
- Inspect all the connections clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
