This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit high the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles engine coolant temperature signal, open / short to b+ and reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
11479 Possible Causes:
11479 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 11479 Code
- Inspect all the connections automatic glow time control relay 2, electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
