Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction or change secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic will delay your vw fault. |
11478 Possible Causes:
11478 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 11478 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
