11457 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 1, system too rich at idle run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance and intake manifold runner control, circuit / open bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
11457 Possible Causes:
11457 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11457 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
