The problem is about exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbocharger speed sensor, circuit or change data bus powertrain, implausible message of the a/c control module is the final reason of the code. |
11420 Possible Causes:
11420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 11420 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
