11406 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing o2 sensor signal bank 1 sensor 1, biased / stuck lean it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, electrical error in the electric circuit . On the other hand wheel speed signal 2, range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
11406 Possible Causes:
11406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 11406 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel level sensor 2, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
