Accumulated in electronic control units so o2 sensor out of range during deceleration bank 2 sensor 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake coolant fan (v7), open circuit and intake manifold tuning valve (bank 1), stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
11406 Possible Causes:
11406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11406 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
