This code were stamped on VW Engine case valve for exhaust flap 1 (n321), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data-bus powertrain, implausible message from transmission controller or change signal for back-up lights, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
11406 Possible Causes:
11406 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 11406 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
