11401 Description And Summary : |

When you open cylinder 9 above knock threshold retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+ or change intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
11401 Possible Causes:
11401 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11401 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 5 (n244), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
