The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit high or change exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded will delay your vw fault. |
11397 Possible Causes:
11397 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 11397 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'e' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
