This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit intermittent / erratic also ignition switch accessory position, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |

11396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 11396 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
