The problem is about exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too high or change turbocharger boost control position sensor, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
11388 Possible Causes:
11388 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 11388 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
