The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low and exhaust bank 3 main catalyst, effectiveness too low is the final reason of the code. |
11387 Possible Causes:
11387 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 11387 Code
- Inspect all the connections camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
