11311 Description And Summary :

When you open transmission control unit, incorrect coded causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system pressure control valve 1 (n215), open / short to ground or change intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 is the final reason of the code.

11311 Possible Causes:

11311 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

What To Check After Fixing 11311 Code

  • Inspect all the connections auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
