Staring in engine exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit intermittent / erratic mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 1 sensor 1 o2 sensor signal, implausibly lean or change throttle actuator control system, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
11284 Possible Causes:
11284 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11284 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
