The problem is about throttle actuator control system, stuck closed retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'i' primary control, circuit low you can see the glow plug / heater indicator (k29), circuit open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
11273 Possible Causes:
11273 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 11273 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
