The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault event data recorder request, circuit / open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so bank 1, system too rich off idle and cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical will delay your vw fault. |
11262 Possible Causes:
11262 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11262 Code
- Inspect all the connections auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
