11261 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing exhaust bank 3 oxygen sensor before catalyst, heater circuit, regulation at lower limit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / pump current, short to ground and wait then o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
11261 Possible Causes:
11261 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11261 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
