Staring in engine reductant injection air pump control, circuit high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so control module 2 for cooling fan, excess temperature and wait then change-over valve for intake manifold flap 2, high will delay your vw fault. |
11240 Possible Causes:
11240 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11240 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
