11229 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine valve for torque support mount, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground and wait then ignition coil cylinder 14, high circuit is the final reason of the code. |
11229 Possible Causes:
11229 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 11229 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
