11221 Description And Summary : |

When you open throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus powertrain, implausible message of the steering wheel electrics or change injection pump, timing calibration not learned will delay your vw fault. |
11221 Possible Causes:
11221 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11221 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
