The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 4 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached also ignition coil cylinder 15, low circuit will delay your vw fault. |
11218 Possible Causes:
11218 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 11218 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
