11216 Description And Summary : |

When you open turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 1, system too lean off idle and wait then valve for fuel bypass (n312), short-circuit after pluses is the final reason of the code. |
11216 Possible Causes:
11216 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 11216 Code
- Inspect all the connections kick-down switches (f8) implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
