11190 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to ground+ mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent or change cylinder 8 injector, data incompatible will delay your vw fault.

11190 Possible Causes:

11190 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
  • Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
  • Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 11190 Code

  • Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), short-circuit after pluses
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
