This something to do with the intake camshaft timing oxygen sensor b1 s1: heating circuit regulation at upper limit, lower limit exceeded mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbocharger speed sensor, circuit low or rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
11179 Possible Causes:
11179 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11179 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
