The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit or change catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low is the final reason of the code. |
11173 Possible Causes:
11173 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 11173 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
