The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small or change torque management feedback signal "b", high will delay your vw fault. |
11171 Possible Causes:
11171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 11171 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
