Staring in engine potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), incorrect basic setting It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake bank 3, o2 correction behind catalyst, b1, limit attained also reductant temperature sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
11171 Possible Causes:
11171 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11171 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for starting with empty tank-nxxx, open or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
