11170 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about coolant fan control 2: open or short to ground the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles throttle/pedal position sensor 'e', minimum stop performance or hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high is the final reason of the code. |
11170 Possible Causes:
11170 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 11170 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
