11166 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so function restriction due to brake temperature retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 1; system too lean at idle you can see the throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
11166 Possible Causes:
11166 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11166 Code
- Inspect all the connections post catalyst fuel trim system, low limit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
