11165 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start malfunction indication light (k83), short to ground and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit is the final reason of the code. |
11165 Possible Causes:
11165 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11165 Code
- Inspect all the connections ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
