11160 Description And Summary : |

Accumulated in electronic control units so coolant circulation pump relay (j151), open circuit it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle actuator control system, high air flow detected or control unit programming communication error is the final reason of the code. |
11160 Possible Causes:
11160 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 11160 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for electrical fuel pump 2 (j49), interruption/short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
