This something to do with the intake camshaft timing reductant temperature sensor, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / pump current, short to ground or drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
11159 Possible Causes:
11159 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11159 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
