11158 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with fuel cap sensor / switch, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance . On the other hand exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), short to ground is the final reason of the code. |

11158 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11158 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from control module battery monitoring
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
