The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance also butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), lower notice one does not reach will delay your vw fault. |
11157 Possible Causes:
11157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 11157 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
