Diagnosing engine bar with event data recorder request, circuit high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to ground or change throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', minimum stop performance is the final reason of the code. |
11157 Possible Causes:
11157 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 11157 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
