11142 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing idle regulation lean operation: rpm too high mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 . On the other hand throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown is the final reason of the code. |
11142 Possible Causes:
11142 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 11142 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
