This something to do with the intake camshaft timing pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, signal too slowly or change linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4, compensation wire pump current, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
11140 Possible Causes:
11140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 11140 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil cylinder 16, low circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
