Diagnosing engine bar with load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ and nox trap, efficiency below threshold (bank 2) will delay your vw fault. |
11140 Possible Causes:
11140 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 11140 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
