11088 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing relays for pump, fuel cooling (j445), short-circuit after pluses mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open and wait then intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed will delay your vw fault. |
11088 Possible Causes:
11088 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11088 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine speed input, circuit error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
