11049 Description And Summary : |

When you open fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake activation starter relay 2, short to ground you can see the bank 2, system too lean at idle is the final reason of the code. |
11049 Possible Causes:
11049 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 11049 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control, regulation deviation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
