This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start glow plug / heater relay, circuit short to b+ . On the other hand friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |
11040 Possible Causes:
11040 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
