Staring in engine cylinder 4 above knock threshold the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high or change data-bus powertrain, software version controller is the final reason of the code. |
10998 Possible Causes:
10998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 10998 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector cylinder 14 (n391), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
