When you open angle sensors 1 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g297), signal too largely retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control circuit for controller for turbocharger 2 (j725): electrical malfunction or throttle actuator control module, internal circuit will delay your vw fault. |
10998 Possible Causes:
10998 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 10998 Code
- Inspect all the connections linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, implausible
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
