Diameter in engine relay for exhaust cooling agent (n313), open circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit or change exhaust gas temperature control bank 4, range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
10996 Possible Causes:
10996 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 10996 Code
- Inspect all the connections relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
