10993 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit high voltage and wait then a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
10993 Possible Causes:
10993 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 10993 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
